Hospital Policies

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment.Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, CareCredit, cash and personal checks.

Patient Arrival Policies

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

If you are having difficulty controlling your pet or need assistance of any kind, please let our receptionists or veterinary assistants know.

Prescriptions

With the availability of internet pet pharmacies we occasionally get requests for prescriptions for pet medications. To ensure the health of your pet, accuracy of prescriptions, and to avoid any problems with multiple medications, a veterinarian will review your pet’s medical history any time a prescription is requested. Often times product support and guarantees are not equal when purchased from an online pharmacy versus a licensed veterinarian. Package appearances and label information may also be different which should warrant a call to the manufacturer and supplier to verify the contents prior to opening. We understand the convenience of having medications shipped to your door, however we want to make sure that your pet is receiving the proper drug at the correct dose with the support of the manufacturer should a recall or problem arise.
